Visit Us

The ASU Natural History Collections are available for visits, preferably via prior contact with our collection personnel. We try to accommodate “walk-ins” during weekdays, typically from 9 am to 5 pm. Please also check our outreach programs and calendar of activities.

As of 2014 the collections are housed in a new 24,000 sq. ft. space located about 1.5 miles southwest of Arizona State University’s Tempe Campus, at 734 West Alameda Drive. We welcome general visitors and biodiversity enthusiasts of all ages, and provide work space and equipment available for biodiversity researchers under diverse arrangements.

Our new location has immediate, abundant, and free parking opportunities for students and the general public, located east of the Alameda Building. Please choose the southeast entrance of the Building to find our Collections Atrium and Outreach Lab, then proceed to the research collections. We hope to see you soon and often.
