ASU Insect Collection Hosted APHIS Grasshopper ID Workshop

Location: Arizona State University, ASU Biocollections (734 W. Alameda Dr., Tempe, AZ)

On March 5-6, 2025, Arizona State University Insect Collection hosted an exclusive workshop, welcoming over 20 attendees from the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). Held at ASU's Biocollections facility, this event was a collaborative effort with Dr. Arianne Cease's lab at ASU, the USDA-APHIS-Phoenix Lab, and the ASU Insect Collections.

The workshop offered a valuable opportunity to enhance expertise in identifying grasshopper species of agricultural and ecological significance, providing essential insights to strengthen future collaborations and research.
